Our main office is located in Bantry, Co. Cork.

We also offer an outreach clinic in Clonakilty, currently by appointment only.

What we do

  • We provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental, trauma informed, free support service for women experiencing domestic violence.
  • We inform women about their options so that they can make their own decisions about their future.
  • We provide information for women who choose to stay in an abusive relationship with ways to stay safe.
  • We offer specialised advocacy and support for women experiencing domestic violence in rural areas of West Cork.
  • We work to reduce the social acceptability of violence against women.

We Offer

  • A free and confidential listening, information and support service.
  • Continual support for women, whatever their choice.
  • Face to face appointments by prior arrangement in our main office, outreach locations or at a safe neutral location.
  • We offer a drop-in service in our Bantry Office.
  • Information on Housing, Financial and Legal Services
  • We offer support to locate emergency accommodation, for example, at local refuges or a safe house, where possible.
  • Court Accompaniment services & accompaniment to other appointments when suitable.
  • Help with transport options in crisis situations.
  • Subsidised counselling services.

What is Domestic Abuse?

Domestic Abuse is a pattern of abuse that worsens over time. It is about obtaining power and maintaining control over another. It can include Emotional Abuse, Gaslighting, Coercive Control, Physical, Financial, Sexual, Digital and Stalking.

All these signs are serious. You do not need to experience all of them to indicate domestic abuse. Talk to us if you feel you are experiencing any form of domestic abuse.
